- Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour ,
- 1 cup sugar, > sift into bowl
- 1/2tsp. salt
- 2 cubes butter
- 1 cup water
- 3t. cocoa > bring to a boil
- 1 tsp. soda Frosting: 1 cube butter,3 tablespoon cocoa, 6 tablespoons milk, 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup milk
Method:
pour hot mixture over flour, mix add 2 eggs unbeaten, then soda, vanilla, &milk. Beat together. Pour in cookie sheet. 350 degrees for 20 min.
Frosting:
Bring to boil, pour over 3 1/2 cups powder sugar ( 1 box ), add 1tsp. vanilla and beat. Frost cake as soon as it comes out of oven.
