An apple corer is a unique tool. Not nececssary but very handy. Be sure to use it on a cutting board.

Using a metal spatula, spread refried beans on your tortilla. Flour tortillas are often easier to fold than corn tortillas. Some students love beans so we even opened a second can. The beans quickly spoil if left in the metal can so divide the excess into smaller portions and wrap in cling wrap and store in the freezer. If you make your "plobs" sort of flat, they will thaw more quickly when you are ready to use them.
